The Marathon - Sunday, November 6, 2011
The Santa Clarita Marathon, which is an official qualifying race for the Boston Marathon, will test the physical boundaries of the human body on Sunday, November 6, 2011 . The day will include a full marathon, a half marathon, a 5K Run, the Mayor's Walk and a Kid K run. All races will begin at 7:00 a.m., with the exception of the Kid K, which will begin at 8:30 a.m.
This year the Santa Clarita Marathon Race Committee will be using the newly open trails along the San Francisquito Creek to be part of the 2011 Half Marathon and Marathon. The new trail system will be used for the majority of the race and will reduce the amount of street closure on McBean Parkway.
This will be my 2nd marathon in 30 days.

ReplyDeleteToo much anxiety on this run but if I can get over it, CIM Sacramento will be a piece of cake.
